To Secretary Bengal - In reply states that where this subject was once before brough for the consideration of Government it was determined that as the Railway telegraph would pass through Patna the branch line was unnecessary and remarks that the Government is not aware that any circumstances have since occurred which would render it advisable to alter this determination.
