To Secretary - Forwards in original a letter addressed to this Government by assistant Surgeon J. M. Bowie of the Bombay Establishment complaining of his removal from the Post of Civil assistant Surgeon at ahmadabad in order that it may be returned to him with an intimation that this Government does not - with the decision of the local Government in personal matters and that in his case the G. G. in C. entirely consurs with the orders passed by the Bombay Government adds that H. L. in C. donbts the expediency of adopting authoritaively the opinion of the Medical Board that in -shall mofussil stations the fee of the Civil Surgeon for attending the families of Public Servants should not in ordinary cases exceed 5 Rs. it will be letter H. L. thinks that the amount should be left in all case to private adjustment.
