Resolution - Forwards to the Foreign Department a letter dated 30th May and its enclosure from the Commissioner of the Tanasserim Provinces respecting application from two american Baptiot Missimaries soliciting Grants from the Government from the Government in aid of the Tanoy Mission and kareen School remarkds that the G. G. in C is of opinion that the assistance asked for may be given but the value which this Government attaches to contributions of some Kind should be pointed out to the Commissioner of the Tamasseriom Provinces as was done lately to the Commissioner o fPegue in the case of a kareen Normal School and that there should not be andy promise of a continual annual grant from Government uenlop fees of some cost are established adds that the G. G. in C. has determined that all matters relating to Education in the Provinces of which the Ordinary administration is in the Foregin Department shall be kept in that Department.
