Secretary - Forwards with His Honors remarks and observations a letter from the Commissioner of Kemaon with the reports of the District officers on the subject of the preservation of the Forests in the Kumaon and Gurhwal Districts which conclusively shew that Mr. Henwoods apprehensions of a want of full to work the Iron Mines in those Districts are without foundation that no steps be taken for the preservation and extension of the Forests.
