From Secretary - Brings to notice that real and serious uneasiness is felt in the Eastern Destricts of Bengal and though the apprehension entertained are somewhat vague there is no douth the whether well or ill founded, they are doing and likely to do much harm that steps should be taken to reassure and give confidence to the people of those districts by statissing at Patna Jossore to ther places, partecs of European seamen, with Guns, and the means of moving readily in Country boats in any director they might seem to the required, and solicits authority to raise and equip two or more such parties of 100 Sailors and the usual complet of officers and to despatch them without further delay.
