With reference to his Office Letter No. 621 dated 5th May 1869 forwards copy of a despatch from the Secretary of State, relative to the request of the Rajah of Sikkim, that the ex-Dewan Namguay be permitted to return to Sikkm on the Rajah`s security, approves of the Government of India having refused to permit it.
