To Secretary - States that the Desptach from the Government of Bombay in the Revenue Department No. 22 of 1859 to the Secretary of state having been laid before the Governor General in Council is directed to name attention to the mission in it if any reference to the correspondence which has passed subsequent to 1845 on the question to which the Despatch relates, namely, the expediency of allowing young Civilians to be employed in the Public service as soon as they shall have passed on one language.
