Governor - In reply to letter of the 26th March last states that he has beeb deterred from taking the required Census on account of the Magnitude of the probable expense of such an undertaking and adds that he had us one whose service could leave been made available for the purpose.

The National Archives of India is on a mission to digitize and make available online each and every record in its repositories. This is an ongoing effort and some records will be made available before the others.
