To Board - In reply - Concurs in opinion with the Board and states that under the existing Rules Mrs. Youngs will be entitled to the Pension of a Branch Pilots Widow, notwithstanding her having been married after Mr. Youngs had retired from the Service. The question whether any measures shall be taken to prevent Government from suffering hereafter from collusive and other Marriages made after retirement from the Service for the purpose of giving to young Women a claim to Annuities seems to Government a very proper one to be referred for the final decision of the Court of Directors whose opinion has been expressed in approbation of the Scheme of the fund and of its Rules as they at present stand.
