Replies to Public letter No. 45 dated 8th August 1861 relative to the conduct of Mr. Detonkarr in the ``Nil Durpen`` matter Concurs in opinion that it wont not be desirable to allow Mr. Setonkarr to resume his former post of Secretary to the Govt. of Bengal, But trusts that his services may be made available in some other suitable office.
