With advertence to letter No 307 of the 17th Febuary last transmits for information and necessary orders copy correspondence with the Secretary at Bombay intemating that the Governor General can only authorize to be passed to Brigadier the Honble H Dindas C B up to the date of the Dundas C B upto the date of the resumption of that rank.
