With reference to this Office letter No. 2033, dated the 25th April last forwards copy of a Despatch from the Secretary of State approving the proceedings reported relative to the endeavors made to communicate via Assam or through Nepal with the Romanist Missionaries in Tibet, and hoping that the efforts of the Frontier Officers may be speedily successful.
