The Commander-in-Chief has brought to notice that in consequence of the reduction of the Sappers, it is now, at the original rate, of the number and division of the cantonments it is impossible to suffice for an Officer to discharge the duties as Adjutant and Quarter Master in His Excellency's Government recommends these appointments may be increased.
