Ordered that a copy of the foregoing letter be sent to the Secry to the College Council and that he be fully informed of the orders of Government as conveyed in the paragraph endorse on the proceedings referred to in the letter from the President under date the 11th instant as desirous of ascertaining the sentiments of the members of the College Council upon the plan submitted by the Chief Secretary in some of its points of view, and that he should request a formal communication from Council on the topic proposed.
