With reference to a letter of the 28th December last, conveying the disapproval of Govt. to the arrangement made by the Joint Deputy Commissary General for the Supply of Camel & Bullock Gear at Neemuch during the present offcial year 1849/50, the Majority of the Board, under the impression that an erroneaces view may be entertained by Govt. of the practive of the Commissariat in obtaining supplies, state that the Department is guided by, & its transactions conducted under, certain Rules quuoted within, & taht some few exceptions to these general rules occasionally arise, & render a departure from them expedient as the istances specified; againt recommend that the arrangement made by Major Ramsay May be allowed to remain undisturbed for the Brief period it was in operation; state also that the principal object of this reference is not however so much with the view of soliciting orders upont this particular case, as to ascertain the wishes of Govt. as to whether, under the exsplanation n
