Submits copy of a report from the Deputy Commissioner, Darjeeling, relative to the disposal of the arms of the Bhootea refugees now residing at Darjeeling, who were disarmed on entering British territory, states that the three principal refugees having asked to be allowed to retain a gun each, he has, in anticipation of sanction, authorized the Deputy Commissioner to restore three guns to them, and requests that the remaining weapons may be sold at auction.
