Forwards copy, of a letter, and of its enclosures, from the Deputy Commissioner of Darjeeling, on the subject of providing accommodation for the Bhooteah refugees who wish to settle in the Darjeeling district, and requests sanction to the expenditure of the amount mentioned in the correspondence in granting the refugees monthly allowances for six months, and providing them with the means of setting up in trade. Adds that Rs. 50 have been sent in aid of the refugees at Buxa.
