Read a Despatch No. 97 of 1857, dated the 7th October, from the Right Honble the Secretary of State for India, requesting with reference to Despatch No. 65, dated the 7th July last, that the advances to be made to the Emgiration of the Colony of British Guiana at Calcutta, may be at the rate of Pound 3 for each emigrant, instead of Pound 2.10 as formerly authorized.
