Read a despatch from the Honble the Secretary of state for India No. 8 of 1858 dated 29th September forwarding in contination of former despatches on the same subject copy of a further letter with enclosers from the colonial office relative to the high rate of mortality on board emigrant ships from Calcutta to the West India colonies and requests to be furnished with the report previonsly called for as to the arrangements made for the prosecution of the inquiry.
