To Secretary to Government of Bengal, Madras, Bombay and North West Provinces - With reference to the foregoning remark of the Director General, requests attention to post office rules 29 and 36, and that orders be issued to the several Departments enjoining attantion to the above rules, and probibiting the transmission by post of reseless papers, and thick and heavy envelopes letters above 12 # weight requiring to be conveyed by letters post be sent on the written requisition of a Secretary to Government on the Secretary to the Chief Commissionar Punjab.
