To Post Office Committee - Acknowleges receipt of the Committee several Report and Letter on the subject of the Post OfficeDepartment Intimats that as the Post Office Act and the Subsidiary Rules having been published, the Committee Labours in connection with this Department may be considered to have closed offers acknkowledgement for having aided Government in placing this Department under a Scheme of General and uniform management to be hereafter regulatid by Law and Conveys the approbation of the Suprem Government at the manner in which their Secretary, captanin Taylor, Exerted in filling up the details of the Scheme and for the pains taken by him in preparing the Polymetrical Tables of distances which enabled the Government to carry the Scheme in to Execution.
