Read a Despatch from the Honble Court of Despatch No. 29 of 1855 dated 21st February bringing to notice the heavy charges sustained by them on the Packets received from the Several Presidencies by the mail which arrived on the 11th February in consequence of the manner in which the Packets were made up. Desire that all practical measures consistent with safety and dispatch may be adopted for desmishing the weight of packets forwarded thro the Post Office . The Lists of Packets should include all Packets whether sent as part of the mail or as freight by the mail Steamers, & should specify the made of transmission.
