To Officiating Dir. General - With reference to letter from the Director General of the 28th November 1854 suggesting issue of orders to the Deputy Surveuyor General for the preparation of a skolton Map shewing the Post Office as they now exist in India and the orders passed thereon Recorded on the Proceedings of the 5th January 1855 No. 94-95 request that 40 Copies of the Now Post Office Map of India if prepared may be forwarded to the Office for transmission to the Honble Court and that a few additional copies may also be sent for the use of the Government of India.
