To Secretary Bengal - In reply states that until the covenant-entered into by Dr. Halleur is received from the Honble the Court of Director his claim to salary from the 6th to the 20th November last cannot be entertained - The terms of the Courts despatch however seem to imply that Dr. Halleur waste receive no salary till he was employed.
