Notifying in explanation of the orders of the Governer General in Council in the Foreign Department dated 25th August 1854 notifies that all Medical Officers in Government Service are entitled to remuneration for professional attendance on the families of those public servants whom they are bound to attend gratuitously except in certain cases.
