To Government Printing Committee - In reply - Authorizes the Bills of the Orphan School Press Establishment to be passed without insisting on the Allowance for discount on excessive numbers. Government to be at liberty to alter the arrangement. The Public Officers entitled to send Advertisements to the Gazette for Publication will be directed to curtail the length of them as much as possible. The Opinion of the Committee desired on the proposition submitted in the enclosed Extract from the Judicial Department for making the Gazette the official Channel for Announcing the temporary or permanent removal of Civil Officers from one Station to another -also what would be the additional expense of furnishing every independant Office of the Judicial Territorial, Financial, Separate & Political Department with copies of the Gazette as would be necessary in case of the adoption of this plan.
