Surveyor General - Requests to be furnished with copies of a letter from Mr. Secretary Gardner dated the 10th May 1816 and of a letter from Mr. Officiating Secretary Craigic dated the 27th July 1817 which have reference to the claims recently made for an exemption in the survey of the distant mountainous Districts as to the periods assigned for Field operations.
