(1) Proposal that officers of the Imperial Services for which a time scale has been fixed, who come on to that scale at stages other than lowest, should be allowed to draw increments according to age instead of according to years of service calculated from date of appointment. (2) Question whether probationary Assistant Superintendents of Police may be allowed to draw their first increment during the second year of service without passing their departmental examinations.
