Classification in the case of service officers; pay in the Senior scale in fixed on a 'point to point' basis with reference to the pay which the officer would have drawn in the junior scale from time to time but for his appointment to the post in the senior scale This principle of pay fixation is, however, not applicable to retired officers re-employed direct in the senior scale. As such the question of applying the six years limit for regulating pay, in the senior Scale in this case dose not arise. pay of the retired officer is accordingly to be fixed under the orders contained in Board's letter No. E(G)58EM1-20 dated 31-3-1959 and after such fixation further increments would accrue after putting in the qualifying period of service
