In reply to a letter of the 27th ultimo, having refer. to the absence of the pay Mr. of H.Ms. 16th lancers states that the commander in chiefs of opinion that the allowances of 5 shillings Pr. Diem to the pa Mr. of a corps, absent upwards of a twelve month cavy. after tht period be no longer issued.
