With reference to a letter of the 2nd septr. states taht under the accision of the Court of directons with regard to the donation of the Gen. officers serving in offg. Hamilton there can be no doubt that major Genl. Nott is as much entitiled to the field tentage. foa genl officers as a part of his donation as to the staff allowances of a major genl. in him of the Batta of his regimental rank .
