With reference to their letter No 4240 and 6597 of 11th september and 7th December 1849 report that to prevent delay int he progress of the work on the survey of the valley of Peshwur by Lieutt J F Walker of the Bombay Engineers they have complied with indents forwarded by that officers for surveying instruments.
