With reference to Financial Deptt. Communication No. 829 of the 31st March last, intimates that the personal Allowance therein referred to , of Rs. 2,000 a Month granted in favor of Major General Godwin, is chargeable to the Civil Deptt., and requests that the above Communication may be cancelled.
