With reference to Mily. Deptt. letters of hte 20th September 1844 & 9th November 1849, submit for favorable consideration, copy report of a special Medical Committee, recommending a daily allowance between the 15th November & 1st March annually, of Firewood to hte Hospitals of European Troops at Jullundur, at the rate of one Mound per grate, & in the proportion of 12th Fireplaces to the Hospital of a Regiment of infantry , & Two each to the troop & Company of of Artillery at that station.
