Transmits Copy Correspondence with teh Adjutt General of the army approving f the G.O issued to the army of the Panjanb , authorizing the same rates of Working Pay for the European and native Solidiers 4 as to the former and amma to the latter per day as was grated to then during the Camparign on the Buttege under the authrity of Govt. and solicits attention to the Concluding Pra of the Adjutt General despatch noticing the now reccipt of a reply letter no 992 addressed to the offg secy mily department at calcutta on the 27th november 1847, adverting to the rule in the new pay code on the subject of working Payu which seems to require correction .
