Sanction to the proposals - (1) that the Income tax establishments in the Madras District may be allowed to start on the new scale of pay sanctioned in the Finance Deptt. letter No. 754-F., dated the 10th March 1922 on the assumption that Mr. Knapp`s scheme had been given effect to in their cases and (2) that the graduate clerks may be allowed to start on Rs. 45 in the nofussil and Rs. 50 in the city.
