With reference to the Acting Secretary Pender's letter of the 16th of February last I am directed to the Right Honorable the Governor in Council to transmit for the purpose of laying before the Right Honorable the Governor General in Council, the annexed letter and a communication from the Secretary to the Marine Board at Fort St. George, showing the expenses chargeable to Bengal on account of the Honorable Company's Ship Ameer incurred during which she was employed under the order of the Supreme Government.
