Chief Secretary to the Government: I am directed by the Committee of the College to transmit the copy of the Paper read before the Right Hon’ble the Governor General in Council: the accompanying copies of points examined in the Natives of the College on the concluding examinations of Mr. McNicol who will today arrive from England in the Persian & Bengalee languages agreeably to orders communicated in the Council letter of the 21st March last on this subject.
