Francis Pinkerton, commanding the 98th Regiment, submitting an account of arrears of allowances due to him up to the 30th September 1785, with a voucher amounting to 1228.3, requesting an order for the payment of the amount before his departure for England, enclosing a certificate for rupees 6206.8.3 from the Governor and Council of Bombay for payment of arrears due to him and to some other officers while serving on the Malabar Coast, and requesting payment of the sum in India, or an order for its payment by the Court of Directors immediately on his arrival in England.
