Inability of the Government of India to accept the offer of the Mysore Darbar to raise four battalions of Infantry in the State for the Indian Army. Proposal of the Mysore Darbar that the cost of the four regiments of the State contingent should be met by the Darbar provided a corresponding reduction is made in the annual subsidy paid by the State to Government.
