Deputy Political Resident in the Persian Gulf informed, in regard to his financial powers, that orders have been issued to the Comptroller, India Treasuries, to accept orders issued by him in the Political Resident's name and on the latter's responsibility and that there is therefore, no necessity to invest him formally with any of the Political Resident's powers
