In reply to No. 16, dated 18th ultimo, sanctions his proposal to depute Captain Sconce, Revenue Surveyor, 3rd Division, at present at Saugor, to Kamptee, for the purposes of conducting the enquiry into the claims preferred by the Nagpore Survey Establishment against Captain J.H. Grant. Permits the former to travel by dak at the Government expense, and informs that the necessary orders for the temporary removal of the letter from Saugor to Kamptee will be issued by the Military Department (Communicated to Military and Financial Department respectively)
