In response to No. 16, dated 18th ultimo, approves his request to assign Captain Sconce, Revenue Surveyor, 3rd Division, who is currently based in Saugor, to Kamptee in order to carry out the investigation into the allegations made against Captain J.H. Grant by the Nagpore Survey Establishment. Allows the former to travel by dak at government cost and notifies the recipient that the Military Department will issue the required instructions for the temporary removal of the letter from Saugor to Kamptee (which will be communicated to the Military and Financial Departments, respectively)
