Eastern Railway: Shri Suraj Bhan M.P.: Revising the Clerks Prescribed Pay Scale-Elucidating Specific Items-Reference to Decisions (1) Where employees modified their date of option for the revised scale of Rs. 80-220 to 1.8.56 in accordance with the directions issued videk Boards letter No. E(S) 64 CPC/PA/7 dt. 6.5.65, the purpose is that the arrears, wherever accruing, should be paid from 1.8.56. Similarly, wherever necessary, recoveries should be made due to option revision. Employees who were verified in their updated scale between Rs. 80-220 between 1.4.56 and 31.7.56 have the option to switch to the scale starting at 1.8.56. In their situation, they ought to be validated in the Upgraded posts only on or after 1.8.56
