The decision to (i) make the positions of Head Clerks and Inspectors interchangeable as part of the integration of the taxation departments for excise, sales tax, stamps, and entertainment tax. (ii) updated the posts' pay scales 1. Reduced from Rs. 180-300 to Rs. 160-300: Entertainment Tax Inspector. 2. Head Clerks, 160-250 to 160-300 rupees. 3. Sub-Inspectors of Excise from Rs. 80-170 to Rs. 80-220. 4. Sub-Inspectors of entertainment tax from Rs. 80-170 to Rs. 80-220. 5. Stamps Auditors between Rs. 160 and 300. (iii) The Delhi Administration will address the issue of safeguarding the pay of current Stamp Auditors as soon as possible
