E(S)66CPC/PA/3 Such of the Commercial clerks of the Southern railway as were drafted as ASM's after 7.3.57 but were actually working as commercial clerks on 1-4-56 may be allowed fixation of pay in the commerical clerks's category on a proforma basis with effect from 1.4.56 giving them the benefit of upgradation, the same being refixed in the ASMs scale under the normal rules from the date they were promoted as ASMs. No arrears to be paid for the period prior to 4.8.65
