Law Ministry referenced a few court rulings when discussing the question of whether a single worker's application may be considered under the terms of the Industrial Disputes Act. It was instructed by the Law Ministry that workers seeking benefits that could be calculated in monetary terms would have the option to submit applications directly to Labour Courts. A request submitted in this manner could likewise be heard by the Labour Courts
