Certain clarifications about passes to be provided to Union officials, as well as meetings to be held at the Divisional level under the Negotiating Machinery.The G.M.'s Eastern and North Eastern Railway was issued an order declaring that the practise of awarding special casual leave in connection with meetings of branches of recognised unions was illegal and should be discontinued. The G.M's NE Af further stated that the practise of supplying grass to union officials or attending Branch meetings was not covered by the Board's extent instructions
