Delegation of the authority held by Local Governments under Articles 57 and 85 (note 3) of the Civil Service Regulations to the Duty Inspector General of Police and the Commissioners of Police in the presidency town and Rangoon. Article 57 is expanded by the wording Native state or Foreign Settlement in India instead of Foreign State or Settlement adjoining its jurisdiction, to provide for the deputation of officers in all Departments to Native States and Foreign Settlement in any area of India
