Amendment of the post office cash certificates Act, 1917 (XVIII of 1917), so as (i) to delegate, to the officer in charge of a post office or sub-office, power of Sanctioning the transfer of a Cash Certificate from one person to Another, and (ii) to raise the limit from Rs. 3,000 to Rs, 5,000 up to which payment of the value of post office cash certificates can be made in the event of the death of the holder to the person entitled to them without the intervention of a court.
